Lately I’ve been getting myself into making retro-styled renders from the 1980s to the early 2000s. This is a recreation of the famous wallpaper for Windows XP made with Blender 4.3 with the Cycles renderer.
Now that I see the finished product, it does remind a bit of the intro to the Amazing Digital Circus, and I’m glad it resembles the world a slightly bit!
That series does drive a lot into several graphical styles of the 90s, mainly webcore, which I also designed this blog after.
